Located in the leafy village of Woodhall Spa in Lincolnshire, St. Hugh’s Prep is a thriving community where children and staff work together.

With a central principle of ensuring opportunities for every child to succeed, we are very proud of being able to allow children to be children at the same time as encouraging the confidence and resilience they need.

Easily accessed from the Midlands and Eastern England in particular, the school, founded in 1925, welcomes day pupils and weekly boarders from all over the region. The school’s fleet of minibuses travels across the area, bringing in pupils from up to an hour away and we offer a genuinely family friendly day with flexibility for all working families. Our mix of flexi and weekly boarding makes for a fun environment which is fundamental to our ethos.

With an enviable record of preparing children for some of the best schools, St. Hugh’s is very proud not only of its traditions but also of being able to innovate. A sector leader in Visible Learning, Teaching and Learning at St. Hugh’s are based on opportunities for everybody.
