Cranbrook School

Co-educational boarding and day school

“ We aim for all boarders to fulfill their potential and develop as well rounded individuals.”

Cranbrook School’s aim as a leading boarding school is to support all students to fulfill their potential through its core values of respect, aspiration and achievement.

A selective, co-educational state funded Academy with integrated day and boarding provision. Entry occurs at Year 7 (day students only) Year 9 and Year 12 and has an overall school population of 750.

The ability level on entry is above average and the proportion of A’s and A*’s in each year group is exceptional. Our Cranbrook Learning Initiative seeks to inspire students to learn and for us to maintain the Outstanding quality of our teaching, as judged by Ofsted in 2015.

Our top priority is that our boarders are happy, healthy and well cared for – allowing them to achieve their full potential academically, socially and physically.

We offer excellent facilities and well-structured time for our boarders to learn, enjoy and grow. There is a thriving extra-curricular programme with exceptionally high levels of participation in sport, music and drama.

Each house has a unique feel fostered by the strong leadership of our Heads of House and by the expertise of our boarding support staff.
