King William’s College

Co-educational Senior School
"I will never forget the school that was well worth travelling 5000 miles for.”
King William’s College, Isle of Man, is a successful coeducational school situated in one of the most beautiful locations in the British Isles.
We are non-selective priding ourselves on our academic success in GCSEs, IGCSEs and the International Baccalaureate Diploma (in 2014 our average points score was 33.7. Two students achieved the perfect score of 45 points and eight pupils achieved 40 or more points). In recent years, our students have gone on to leading universities, including Oxford, Cambridge, LSE, Edinburgh, Munich, Maastricht and Stanford (US).
Our objective is to provide a broad and balanced curriculum rooted firmly in teaching of the highest quality, a wide range of enriching extra-curricular activities and opportunities for pupils to develop an understanding of different cultures.
Class sizes are small with a 1:8 teacher pupil ratio, with dedicated and committed staff providing a caring stable and safe environment.
With pupils from over 20 nationalities we are proud of our internationalism. 12% of our students are non-UK nationals and our overseas students are fully integrated and our non-English speakers are supported with qualified EFL staff.
We are easy to get to with regular flights from most UK airports. There is no transfer issue - the airport is next door!
