Lucton School

Pupils at Lucton School benefit from small classes, a friendly atmosphere and a wonderful rural location. Pupils are provided with an excellent allround education, which aims to bring out the full potential of each individual.

There is a good mix of day pupils, weekly boarders and full boarders. Founded in 1708, the school is set in a safe, healthy and attractive location in 60 acres of countryside. Many different sports are offered and boarders also enjoy a varied set of weekend activities, all included in the fees. Lucton School has a strong academic record and an established tradition of getting the best possible results from each pupil. Lucton is particularly proud to have been awarded ‘Outstanding’ for Equality and Diversity, an excellent reflection of how well boarders from all backgrounds are made welcome at Lucton. Sports facilities
include: rugby / football / lacrosse / hockey / rounders / athletics fields; netball / tennis courts; indoor swimming pool; indoor sports hall and an equestrian centre with all-weather ménage, allowing students to ride at school and even bring their own pony. Admission can take place at any time of the year by interview and assessment.
