Port Regis

Port Regis is a wonderfully vibrant school with a ‘magic mix’ of pupils: local day and UK (60%), military (20%) and international and ex-pat (20%), all creating a distinct blend. With children from more than a dozen countries – from Italy to Japan, our children gain a truly global perspective from a very early age - it’s a unique and exciting mix outside of London. Few other prep schools can provide the breadth of experience on offer at Port Regis. We are renowned for our exceptional staff and academic credentials, as well as our first-class facilities set within 150 acres of stunning grounds in rural Dorset. These facilities (that eclipse many senior schools) enable us to deliver an outstanding holistic education that inspires the head, hand and heart. This is one of the reasons that Port Regis pupils achieve the number of scholarships and awards they do, year on year, across all areas.

Above all, the most powerful education begins with the heart. The best schools do more than just expand intellect, unlock creativity, and support wellbeing; they go deeper. They nurture the character and moral values of their pupils. As a preparatory school, not only are we preparing girls and boys for life at senior school, but we’re also preparing them for the great adventure of life itself.

Port Regis currently has a wonderful offer for Armed Forces Families: a limited number of Pre-Prep places (for A/Y 2023/24) at an exceptional discount. Eligible families will only pay £300 per term for the duration of their time in the Pre-Prep (Reception to Year 2).

We passionately believe in championing a truly exceptional childhood education, with JOY as its cornerstone.
