West Buckland School

Co-educational Senior and Prep School
"A consistent track record of academic success, a beautiful rural location and exceptional facilities.”

Described as "a gem of a school in an outstanding location", West Buckland School, founded in 1858 is set in 90 acres of stunning countryside close to the spectacular Atlantic coast in the South West of England.

In recent years, over £14 million has been spent on the facilities, which include, most recently, a Sixth Form co-educational boarding house with 70 en suite single bedrooms, as well as a state-of-the-art library and study centre. These, along with the outstanding Art and Design Technology building and first-class sporting complex, are amongst the best to be found in any school in the region.

The school is lively and vibrant with a strong and well-supported boarding community who enjoy a friendly and welcoming environment and benefit from a busy weekend and evening programme of activities. We have students from around 18 nationalities who benefit from our excellent pastoral care and free transport service to Heathrow airport.

The school has enjoyed a strong academic track record for many years, making it by far the most successful school in the area.
