Westbourne House, Chichester

Westbourne House is an exceptional day and boarding prep school for girls and boys aged two-and-a-half to 13. Set in 100 acres of parkland, just outside the cathedral city of Chichester and the famous Goodwood Estate, the school is just 1.5 hours’ drive south of London and easily accessible by train from Gatwick Airport.

“the best of both worlds: outstanding results in an inspiring environment where children can be children”

Westbourne pupils go on to prestigious senior schools, including Benenden, Brighton College, Eton, Harrow, Marlborough, Wellington, Winchester and Wycombe Abbey, many on a scholarship - over 120 in the past five years for extraordinary academic, sport, music, art, drama and all-round achievement.

Designed to be holistic and stimulating, our curriculum is an unforgettable journey of discovery: science experiments, outdoor adventure, drama, debates, chess, cooking, ceramics, poetry, music, kayaking plus team and individual sports. Life in school is based on respect, kindness and perseverance and accompanied by an unparalleled level of support for - and responsiveness to - each child’s needs.

Boarders at Westbourne live in one of seven family-style boarding houses, enjoying a range of activities and creating life-long bonds with friends.
